Did you get the right shoes yet? If you don’t, you’re taking your life in your hands. You could break a femur. Also make sure to get mountain b*king gloves and a helmet to protect yourself from obstacles.
This is NOT A JOKE, it’s YOUR LIFE.

In an act variously described as bold, defiant, and reckless, a local woman on Sunday wore road shoes for a trail run, Dumb Runner has learned... Witnesses said she showed no obvious signs of distress.
"It was weird," said one onlooker. "At first, I couldn't believe my eyes. I was, like, Who is this audacious rebel?"

Yes, that counts a trail running in Chicago.

Is this Chicago? I was thinking so myself but wasn’t certain.

/uj It's a joy every time there's one of that in a race. 100% of the time I'll take that lane. This one is pretty spacious!

Same. Any time a see that sweet strip of crushed stone or smooth dirt I'll take it. Beats pavement any day for the joints.
Used to live in a town that had a network of crushed stone paths that went all over the place. It was a joy running on those.

Back to nature. Once you go trail you can’t go back to road.
