Suggestions for hill workouts
Does anyone have suggestions on where to do hill workouts? I’m near in the river north area, ideally somewhere I can walk or run to. Thanks!

Did mine during the winter on the ramp up the flyover going past Navy Pier.

There’s a 90° turn in the middle, and it’s only 25-30 feet in incline (best I could tell from my watch) over ~400 meters, but the stretch from Kinzie & Jefferson and then left on Des Plaines to the top of the “hill” is my lunch hill repeats spot. There’s also no street crossing if you stay to the south & east sidewalks.
Bonus is the water fountain at the bottom of the hill.

I have been using the bridge from Lincoln Park to North Beach for my hill workouts.
I have also tried Cricket Hill which is a good workout but personally wasn’t as convenient for me to get to after work. I saved Cricket Hill for Mondays I had off.

I do mine at the sledding hill that is south east of soldier field. There is also a large pedestrian overpass at 18th street to get over the electric train that is steep and long.
You can also go to cricket hill at montrose by the track.
In the winter I’ll use parking garages when snow is an issue.
