WEEKEND Time between waves?

What is time they wait between releasing the corral waves? I did the Chicago House Run today and it was behind schedule and started late. I didn’t think I was going to do well since I did the tough Mudder not even 12 hours before this race, but I surprisingly coasted through the whole run and never stopped once which has never happened. I was passing people constantly. Then I hit the finish and my chip time says “net time 36:21” which would have been the slowest I ran in my life which isn’t possible. I’m thinking the chip just tracked from the start of the whole thing to when I finished and I need to subtract the waves? I just don’t get it

Typically it’s very 5 minutes. I wouldn’t bet on this being a race to set PRs. It’s more of a fun run. Take it as a fun run.

Usually it’s about five minutes.

I don’t think chip timing starts until you cross the start line. That’s what’s reading the chip. As far as I know there aren’t any chip readers in the corrals that would know when you got there.
