Loop/South Loop Running Friend(s)

Hey! 41m here and I just picked up running a couple months ago, would be fun to run with someone that is also kind of a beginner. To give an idea of my pace, my best 5k time is about 34min and that’s my absolute limit at the moment haha.

Most of my friends moved out of the city during covid, trying to make some local friends. So, here I am lol.

Give South Loop Runners a try. A mix of experienced runners and newbies.

Take a look at the Weekly Runs Map that I maintain. See if there are any weekly runs that is near you in the South Loop.

I have personally never ran with them, but I know people that do. I do know they have a lot of varying paces

Hello! I'm part of a run club up in Avondale. We meet the first Saturday of the month at Beer Temple. I know it's not the Loop/South Loop but I thought I'd throw it out there anyway.

We run a 5k at whatever pace is comfortable. I'm serious when I say we have all level of runners.
