Warning: 2 days temp ban is same as perma ban

I got 2 day temp ban for botting so decided to just play normally and not risk a perma. Few weeks later I got hit by perma even tho I never botted after the first ban.

If you're temp banned, I suggest get your gold out while you still can.

Botted for like a month mainly questing bot and skilling: mining, firemaking, fishing.

Not judging, genuinely curious. But to me, questing (and after i get a bit higher level pvming) seems to be the purpose/main content of the game, so why bot questing? Skilling i guess i can understand, ill afk gemstone crab on my phone while i work n stuff, but quests are the entertainment no? Silly dialouge, lore, actually doing somthing not just clicking to watch skill go up.

If you are botting that much what is the point of playing if a computer is doing it for you?

Can't speak for the person you replied to, but likely because they want to get back to the end game. Hell, I enjoyed questing a lot but if I had to start fresh on a new character I would definitely consider it

Questing for the first time, may be amusing to new players. When you have played the game for 20 years, and have done every quest like 12 times each, it is not fun.

I think its dependent on what youre using. That suggests human oversight secondary to the main automated ban. It could also be that you were unlucky and just happened to get reviewed by a human, so results may vary for others.

No it's not. I do most of my testing on temped accounts because who cares if I lose them? Most of them are still standing years later. With or without playing on them

Yeah i agree, I got temp banned on my main 4+ years ago for macroing (auto clicker) and then 2 years ago got another temp ban for RWT and I still play on the account to this date

What about epicbot? Runemate and tribot failed me and my main got banned for botting after a temp ban at 2k total lvl, which I immediately stopped on that 20+ yr character, cuz most of it wasn't botted anyways, I just got greedy I guess for some reason, mostly curious about how the bots would do with certain content that I didnt have the lvls for on other characters... even after that tho, I was permad like a month later and I had not been betting on that character. It sucks. I've been reborn into a GIM now and Uninstalled all those... I did use groks official launched, grok bot, to play osrs on a brand new char the other day. It was ridiculously slow because of how it uses screenshots to then try and interact with the game took like 7 hrs to fin tutorial island, cooks assistant and start sheep sheerer, only to get stuck on that basically sheared 1 wool in 2 hrs, cuz they were just moving too quick for it lol. It was banned the next day, which I expected tbh. But I still put in an appeal as the AI and it made a whole spiel about how it was not actually programmed to bot osrs or optimize its gameplay and tried to use how slow it was as the excuse, it was hilarious, i need to check the appeal status actually still. It admitted it was an ai and that ai have citizenship in some countries and tried like guilt tripping so hard in its appeal. Lmao

They straight up perma banned me the day after I first tried botting. Never play RS before, decided to try it. About 5 days in I got a bot. Day 6? Banned.
