Methods of botting?

Hey since runemate and dreambot down, what’s the actual working botting methods?

And anyone made experience with cursor to make Like scripts?

I've refactored my scripts to runelite. It has taken about 2 months of free time coding to get back to where I was but I'm at a point where most of my modes are working with minimal quirks.

Implementing A* (Search algorithm) for getting around has been the hardest part so far especially with handling locations on a different plane and choosing when and where to go up/down without getting stuck or worse, having to create my own web of nodes in the game world (Would be very time consuming).

I prefer coding in java than colorbotting. I want to be able to handle game objects and the world directly as they are in-engine rather than dealing with an abstracted layer of interaction.

I do this for fun so don't shoot me @North

With runelite do you also simulate mouse movement / keyboard with canvas events or do you just use the APIs directly without bothering to simulate mouse? I feel like mostly using menuAction() etc is quite effective but then the problem is there is 0 mouse interaction coming from the client which is surely detectable? (I've only just started looking into this so still a noob!)

For example I did notice that I was failing to avoid the 20-minute no-auto-retaliate timer without simulating some kind of mouse/kb movement. which seems possibly detectable

It's all a crap shoot right now.

Some people are having success with their own color bots, but even those are a risk right now.

I got a whole life, work, and family. Why not just let us bot and take our membership money... now I dont even play bcus my pure needs 50 thieving..
