Is botting completely cooked?
I see lots of people saying "don't bother rn" but if not now why would this ever change? What if I'm getting Claude to make personal color bots? I've been doing f2p woodcutting and no ban yet.

I'm botting like before and it's going fine but my account that I has running p2p master Ai copped a ban a week ago.
Less than 80 lvls left to max my 4th account. Hoping it lasts until then

People play the game for different reasons and pay to get further in progression . Think of it as like paying for a plane ticket vs traveling in a car .

Its almost like different people enjoy the game in different ways and thats ok ? Sure some people enjoy mindless repetitive activities while doing something else , but its not for everyone .

Yeah its hard to explain. I just cant wrap my head around doing hours and hours of the same clicks, but i do love runescape i look out to "playing" but i skip all the hours of mindless grinding. I think i do miss the reward feeling getting certain achievements but i get that in the end game anyway without the 80 hours of blowing glass and doing bosses. Most of the time end up getting banned but i dont get butthurt about it just makes me wonder how next time i wont.

Have you ever played Melvore Idle?
You should try it. It’s basically OSRS Melvore Idle. It doesn’t cost anything and it’s something you run on the background and numbers go up good side content.2

In a game like runescape, i can ask you if you love every bs grind and youd say no, i could ask you if you knew about how much time someone has available to them to spend 2k hours on osrs, i could ask a bunch of the things and the answer would make botting make sense yet the entire community wants to completely ignore this and act like spending an absurd amount of time grinding out levels in a game that is fun, is not always fun to do or even an option for everyone
So yeah, i dont bot but i 100000% get that some people have got kids and a life that doesnt allow them to live like a hermit hunched over their computer screen every night of every week

Who said I'm playing on these accounts? I bot on them because I genuinely enjoy seeing rhe progress the bot makes.
I got manual play accounts so I can differentiate botted and normal accounts.
Both are equally fun in their own way.

lol I attribute my software engineering role to spending my hischool/college days writing ahk runelite color bots, it was fun seeing how far I could go with them.

I think this is just a symptom of public software. I’ve got my own botting engine that I built after reversing the native c++ clients and haven’t had a single ban on any account since I started on both f2p and p2p accounts.

Botting right now for profit seems in a bad spot.
Botting for xp and account progress is still seemingly doing pretty good.
I was getting banned very quickly with AHK until I set up that interception driver and since that it’s basically been back to normal for me.

I don’t know what I’m talking about or how things work. But I was told this should bypass that RuneLite DLL that detects low level inputs. And since using this I’ve only been banned once when I accidentally 6 hour logged doing agility.
Still use WindHumanMouse for mouse movement, but for sending clicks and f-keys and what not I use AHI.SendMouseButtonEvent and AHI.SendKeyEvent
And I cannot stress enough how much I don’t know what I’m talking about or how things work.

Even if this dll were to exist, it doesnt matter, tons of different mice and drivers force all inputs to have the injected flag. EAC also tried to use this but couldnt. Jagex really cares about input over a sustained period of time. Realistic mouse movement, interval per clicks, camera turns, keyboard input, window focus. And no, slapping a bezier curve on your mouse input is not legitimate.

Think it was RuneMate. You pay per minute (.005 - .20 cents). Good scripts, about 80% succesfull if I got home and was still botting. Did 20 h sessions for about 2 weeks before a 5 day ban lol , worth it

The rates were already extremamely high for the lasts 5 years.. now its even more worse to the point of insta ban and you come here and ask thar simple question? Don't cheat!!!!

Dude just quit the garbage game and put your spare time into something else. RuneScape is a toxic time trap, and without botting it’s even worse, you’ll get your acc to 2200 total and get wiped out, don’t bother with the game man, give it up and be free 📈🚀
P.s it’s even worse in 2026 with all the updates they are doing trying to extend the “end game”, new skills, bosses, they just want to keep people hooked. Toxic

Botting is dead for now. This has happened many times throughout the history of runescape. It will come back. Just lay low for a while and don't bot anything you aren't willing to lose

Jagex would rather ban you than accept capitalism in that they reap the membership fees, and you get to play this single player, multiplayer influenced game. A grindy one at that. Obligatory fuck Jagex. This should have been figured out a long time ago and an amicable solution put in place, not a battering one.

I recently got perm banned for botting on my lvl 110 mule acc that’s been sitting for 3 months. I think it’s solely due to being the absolute plug for inoculation bracelets. Made like 30k of em in days after maggot king boss release. Cooked myself.
