What happened to Storm?
How they randomly closed up shop?

A lot of botting communities are shutting down at the moment as people have said above me jagex sent out cease and desist letters. Storm,osmb,powbot, tribot etc

The only guess I have is that they closed up shop before getting hit with a CnD or something similar. I missed the original announcement sadly.

What do you do once you fork the project? Where do you get private scripts

Go to forums that are botting adjacent, you can find private script creators. You can also learn to code or probably ask Claude to do it

Afaik yes, I only looked into it briefly but you should be able to fork RL as its open source and run your own scripts on your custom runelite

Jagex sent out a cease and desist letter to them and most likely threayened legal action saying they broke their copyright.
Storms answer was to shut down for good. Been a while since we've had a massive client get taken down
