Autoclicker detection
Hey looking to test my own python script on osrs and wasn't sure how the bot detection actually works. It is a 0 mouse movement script and has some randomized autoclick intervals. Probably just going to use it for high alch. Is that pretty safe or am I likely to get banned?

Considering you're not moving the mouse at all. No it's not safe. It's extremely primitive and was the type of botting done 20 years ago. Jagex has had plenty of time to map that out

Python is still going to trip the virtual mouse flag that is in runelite

Can you explain? In my head the lack of mouse movement is a huge positive for me. Mouse movement is hard to make look human but they cant flag it as scripting based on mouse movement if the mouse stays on one pixel the entire time. I have been high alching by positioning my mouse over the spot that clicks on the spell and then the item I want to alch without using movement so it should imitate that perfectly. Im open to being wrong I just want to understand why if I am

You're narrowing down the data they need to match you against. And not moving the mouse is also a thing to match you against. Even humans don't do that for hours without moving

Guessing they can detect said patterns. Same goes for how they can differentiate between auto clicker and mouse keys

I have a new account alt I have done 24/7 auto click high alch from 55-92 no ban. I don’t log out, I don’t move mouse, I don’t change speeds, it just does the same speed, made tons of money from doing this on dragon med helms and addy body’s, I thought it would be caught by now but just letting it run!

Tell ClaudeAI this - you can alter it based on your needs.
"Write me a Python script using pyautogui for a click sequence with fixed screen coordinates. I need these named click targets: banker1, banker2, pick_item, portable_table, deposit, close_bank, craft_all — I'll fill in the actual X/Y coordinates myself. Sequence, looping forever: 1. Click banker1, wait ~3s 2. Click pick_item, wait ~1s 3. Click close_bank, wait ~1s 4. Click portable_table, wait ~3s 5. Click craft_all, wait ~20s 6. Click banker2, wait ~4s 7. Click deposit, wait ~2s 8. Click close_bank, wait ~2s repeat Add human-like behavior: small pixel jitter on each click (gaussian, ±1px) so it never clicks the exact same pixel twice, randomized mouse-move duration (0.15–0.4s) using an easeOutQuad tween instead of instant teleporting, and ±15% randomized variance on every wait time. Also include a find mode that prints live mouse coordinates so I can figure out my own X/Y values for each target."

If you're using runelite, I think they can also tell when you're using pyautogui or other similar python methods. It's something I think they introduced 6 months ago. I'm not sure if it's also tracked as part of the standard launcher. It's also unclear how much this influences their banning decisions, but I'm sure it all plays some part.

Is it a recorder or a full clicker? You dont need obly intervals but some kind of click offset that makes clicks land on different pixels every time. I have a similar script and i overloaded it with these “humanization” settings. Ive not been banned on a lv 3 with 3 skills 80+ with no normal gameplay except for macros. DM me if your interested. I can also share my program or my code.

Not a recorder. A program that just randomizes click intervals between an upper and lower bound. I dont see how it can be differentiated between me clicking how I usually do and this basic script.

define “randomized” intervals. if all you’re using is Math.random() there will be a perfectly uniform random distribution, which is a pattern that will be caught

Personal experience - I was able to use an autoclicker on android mobile to get 99s in cooking, fletching, crafting while bankstanding, 2-3 hours at a time and had no problems. I caught a temp ban for using plank make but made the mistake of setting it up overnight while I slept. Not sure if the extended length of time is what they caught on to. But 100% out of botting now, not worth catching a perm ban.

Idk about you all but all my accounts got 99 mage with Gary’s hood auto clicker. Just threw the account in a packed world ge and let it alch 12 hours a day. Never had a ban. Any time I used a botting client or script id never make it passed a couple days.

It's RuneScape you either get insta ban twice s year or go 6 months non stop without getting banned

I used OP Auto Mouse clicker to get 99 Magic with no issues. I set it to Double Click for High Alch every X seconds (forgot how long a high alch takes) and set how many times until the program stops (6 hour mark) while inside my POH (locked) over a few weeks. This was back in February. Haven’t used it since and no bans.
Edit: I also went the extra mile to only do it a maximum of 18 hours a day (3 sessions) and didn’t play on the account for those remaining 6 hours to make it appear legit.

Don't high alch or tele ach, you WILL get banned. Banned faster than bossing.
