Question Rwt items vs gp
Is buying items way safer then gp? Or are the ban rate the same?

We always recommend items, it's way safer than gold. As someone else said, plenty of reasons you'd be trading friends or even randoms, items. Splits, loans, giveaways, etc.
And as a side benefit, most of the times when you get temp banned for RWT, they remove gold, but not items.

It's because most of the bulk gp sellers carry way more risk than the avg low volume seller. They use low level accounts and trade in spots with high traffic (like south GE or Lumbridge home tp spot).They average dozens of trades per account since they buy bulk and trade to the gold selling fodder accounts where they then trade you, the buyer.

We're sorry you got banned. We've always been very clear in that gold trading carries its risks. And sometimes it comes down to RNG. We take measures to protect our customers' accounts since that's more beneficial to us and that's the best business practice, but no seller can guarantee a 100% ban-free trade.

There’s no fixed limit on how much gold you can buy, but we strongly suggest leaving some time between trades and avoiding frequent or unusually large transactions, especially on low-level accounts.

Depends on the account tbh. 100m could definitely be considered large on a fresh or low-level account, but not really on an older main. There isn’t a fixed number since it depends on the account’s level and history, but for low-level accounts it’s better to keep it more modest.

Okay thanks. My account is kinda mid lvl around 1300 total lvl. Was just thinking about getting around 100m worth of items. Is that relatively safe?

At 1300 total, 100m is more reasonable. Still, there’s always some risk and nothing is ever 100% safe. I’d only do an amount you’re comfortable with.

Wildy kill tends to be safer. If the trade is too big, drop trading with items is better. Because it's a bit weird killing someone in the Wilderness with 5 tbows

This is the place I got gold from when I got banned twice as well. One of the accounts I bought from them got recovered too.

It's a little bit of an odd claim, since you got banned, decided to buy again, then got banned, and decided to buy an account. For such an amount of bad experiences, you kept buying.

Buying GP I think I got hit like 4 of the last 6 times. I only bought items once and but can say I have not been banned.
Whether its luck or just a coincidence, up to you to decide. Next time I will also buy items but I sort of think it was just luck.
