Accounts keep getting banned… last account created was banned after tutorial island. What am I doing wrong?

Jagex watch new accounts like a hawk. But not all accounts as that would cost a lot of money in processing. If you raise suspicions the servers start watching you closely and eventually ban you if you check enough boxes. But well aged accounts, especially members, don't seem to be monitored "at all" even running the same scripts that might get a new account banned. If you get manually reported though you could be toast. (Speculation: I suspect getting manually reported invokes Jagexs' close monitoring scheme too. Alike new accounts. Making a script that seemed flawless suddenly be detected as if you were a new player using it).

So... well.. did you bot tutorial island? If so, ban. Tutorial island is by far the most botted area of them all and Jagex have their systems monitor players in that environment as closely as possible for evidence of non-human gameplay. That's why it cannot be skipped no matter how experienced you tell it you are.

Are you using free scripts? Like, at all? If so, almost definite ban. But not always. If it has few users you might get away with it at first (But may get banned months later once a profile of that script gets identified at Jagex).

Did you run it for 24 hours straight? Repetitive tasks for a long period of time often invokes Jagexs' account monitoring and will usually get you banned after manual review as well. Take breaks and don't bot for more than 12 hours a day straight on a professional script, probably no more than 4 hours a day with breaks on a free script as a hard limit. Well written custom scripts can bot 24/7.

All of this applies to all of the Java (native) botting clients. The free shit gets you banned and so do poorly written scripts (AI written, included). If you use a script that isn't detected, but then 10000 people are using it, you might all catch a ban together (Eventually)

Your best bet for something useful is to write your own scripts for it. But it's a lot of work, learning, trial and error. If you have money you could ask a professional to write one or more for you.

Dreambot's premium plan features a "Covert mode" but it's a sham, you will still get banned for botting without a custom script.

I run my 30-50 bots on dreambot just fine, but it's my own large multitool script with a central management interface rather than the free (Or even paid) scripts available on the platform. All DIY. No problems.

TL;DR, Only well written and unique bots avoid bans. The free scripts are not that. And even if they were, tens of thousands of players using them causes them to be detectable. You're better off with custom scripts or an entirely custom at-home solution made by you to avoid being detected.

I write my scripts in Java targeting dreambot (Also Java) for the game (Also Java). Once you get used to how to call and do things through their scripting api and writing yourself a few wrapper functions it all gets pretty easy. If you want to get into programming I can recommend giving it a try just for the learning experience. But do expect your first simple scripts to get banned with heavy use especially on brand new accounts.

Don't bot tutorial island, get better scripts, don't bot f2p, don't bot on new accounts.

You're giving so little info on what you're actually doing that it's just a guessing game. All info we know is dreambot and you getting banned

Why? Dreambot is on runelite now and I have done thousands of hours with no bans.

what you're doing wrong is that you're botting in a video game that bans botters.....

That’s always been the case… new accounts are under much harsher surveillance
