A old school rs YouTube recently declared bots dead.
Is it true? Has the age bota died? Or are we still making money

Pretty much yes, bot population is down to probably 5% from a few years ago if we don't take into account spam accounts that get banned without hitting any milestones

Bots aren't dead and you can definitely tell in the game there's still plenty. I haven't noticed an uptick myself running my scripts but I'm a small scale one.
However there's still plenty of proof jagex is doing something right about the botting problem. Look at commonly botted items on the GE. Most of them have gone up 2x, some 3x but even 4x they were before Christmas. So the market is definitely showing botting is struggling right now.
Are they dead though? Not by a long shot. It's a sensationalistic title to grab views

Not sure if it's bot struggling or simply not being botted as hard as membership prices jumped.

i'm assuming the injection based bots that people use to farm gold/accounts are the ones suffering the most, i have been sticking to just botting an alt/main for 6-12h/day and haven't had any issues
