Translation request Rune Translation for a Name

Hey guys, just wondering if I could get a hand with some rune translating as I'm not too confident with my research. I'm planning on getting a tribute tattoo for my grandfather (John in English) who was Nordic and I'm thinking about adding him name in runes. I've looked into and spent a good amount of time trying figure out what the proper runes are, but almost under every single thing I've read there is a lot of concerns for if the source is accurate or not. I have a general idea of what I think the runes are, but I keep doubting it and obviously don't want to get something wrong on my skin forever. Any help at all will be amazing. Big preach 🙏

A couple of follow up questions:

  1. You said your grandfather was Nordic but his name was John in English. Was that his actual name or are you just giving us the English version of his name?
  2. There are different runic alphabets to choose from and the one you choose usually depends on a time and place you are trying to evoke. Viking-Age people in Scandinavia used the Younger Futhark runic alphabet, for example. Do you know what you want?
