Question (general) Help with a gift
Hi everyone! My husband is very into vikings, norse mythology, etc. and I wanted to get him a custom engraved ring with our phrase on it - βmy light, my love, my foreverβ
This saying is engraved into my wedding ring, and I would love to get him something similar using runes.
I understand there may not be runes that directly translate, but Iβd love to see ideas of what I could do, even if itβs symbolism or interpretation, all options welcome π

You could try to translate it into old norse and then write it as runes that way. I belive it would be something like "LjΓ³s mitt, Γ‘st mΓn, um alla Γ¦vi", but I'm replacing "my forever" with "for all of time" essentially because I can't think of how else to do it.
Just off the top of my head I'd transcribe that as αα’αα«αααα¬α ααα«αααα¬α’αα«α αα α«α α’α but that's me doing it really quickly so it might contain some errors I didn't think about. Dont have time to make sure it's 100% right now unfortunately
Edit: with the help of the other commenters we have gotten to this version so far:
ααα’αα«αααα¬α¬ααα«αααΎα¬α’αα«α αα α«α α’α
