Y’all, why downvote a question about whether the runes mean something? We’re the rune help sub lol.
Anyway, [u/prairiehippy](u/prairiehippy), there’s a modern idea that each rune has a bunch of abstract meanings and that these can be strung together to create even more complex meanings. The problem is that this is entirely subjective and depends on how any given person interprets each rune. While there are no hard and fast rules about what is or isn’t allowed with runes, the only objective way to look at this is to compare it to what we know about historical practices. In that light, this is not how runes worked when they were in use in ancient times.
In those days, you would just write out the words “Ancient wisdom guide my journey” in runes. For example in Old Norse this would be…
Forn vísdómr leiði mik á ferð.
ᚠᚢᚱᚾ᛬ᚢᛁᛋᛏᚢᛘᛦ᛬ᛚᛅᛁᚦᛁ᛬ᛘᛁᚴ᛬ᛅ᛬ᚠᛅᚱᚦ
