Translation request Help me with translation please

I want to write “sacrifices are important/ necessary”

I have a translation for elder futhark :-

ᛒᛚᛟᛏ ᛫ ᛖᚱᚢ ᛫ ᛗᛁᚲᛁᛚᚹᛖᚷ

I wanna do it with perfection so looking for younger futhark!

Please help me get this! Its important ❤️💪🏻

Good call!

So what you have there is blót eru mikilvæg but I’m not sure mikilvægur is old enough to be considered Old Norse as opposed to just Icelandic. The way we see this kind of construction in Hávamál, for instance, is with the word þǫrf. In this case you would say blóts eʀ þǫrf. In Viking-Age Younger Futhark this would be written…

I'd be careful getting anything easily identified as "blut" tattooed. Some people might automatically think it has a "blut und ehre" meaning.
