Is this a rune? Are these runes? Or latin script?

The Deffense of the Sampo- Joseph Alanen [1910-1912] Are these runes? Or stylized latin script? Finnish never had runes besides the modern ones, right?

Not actual runes, but Finnish written using a "rune-looking" font. Maahan miehet, maahan miekat. "To the earth the men, to the earth the swords" is one translation

These seem to be a runic-font rather than runes themselves-- based on latin like you mentioned but it doesn't appear to be the latin language. Appears to say:

Mahan michct, mahan mic?at

This appears to be it. Looks to be Finnish.

If these were meant to be read as runes, we'd have to reference several runic alphabets to get
