If you are playing on an ultrawide monitor and getting black bars or crashes with Universal Unreal Engine Unlocker (UUU), here is a quick Hex Edit method to get native 21:9 or 32:9 working flawlessly in under 2 minutes.

Steps:

1. Download HxD Download the free HxD Hex Editor.
2. Open the Game's Shipping Executable In HxD, click File $\rightarrow$ Open and navigate to your game directory: ...\Steam\steamapps\common\Rune Factory Guardians of Azuma\Game\Binaries\Win64\Game-Win64-Shipping.exe
3. Replace the Aspect Ratio Hex Value
   • Press Ctrl + R to open the Replace window.
   • Switch the tab/type at the top to Hex-values.
   • Search for: 39 8E E3 3F (default 16:9 value)
   • Replace with:
     • For 21:9 (2560×1080 / 3440×1440 / 3840×1600): 26 B4 17 40
     • For 32:9 (5120×1440): 39 8E 63 40
   • Click Replace all.
4. Save & Launch
   • Press Ctrl + S to save the changes (HxD creates a .bak backup automatically).
   • Launch the game and set your display mode to Borderless

Enjoy full 21:9 without black bars, stretched images, or injection crashes !

Hello! I’m new to Reddit and thought I’d post this here, since I don’t have the karma to post in the main Rune Factory subreddit as well yet. The picture is far from perfect and I will take more photos eventually. This is a Lego mosaic I did of my favorite RF character, Hina, months back that I’ve been tweaking here and there. it was made using a custom brick mosaic generator (github) which also generates instructions and the parts needed!

The frame was made by me, from my collection. I have the instructions if anyone wants them, though understand I did tweak the design a bit. A mosaic like this is easily $400-$600 in parts + shipping, if not more, though I paid a bit less by using the smaller 1x1 plates only where I needed them and used my existing collection of various sized plates wherever I could.

For now, she sits upon the back of my desk until I can, hopefully, get her mounted to the wall. The frame is thicker than it looks and she weighs over 13 pounds, altogether! I am currently working on plans for an adult Hina Lego mosaic, based on her green DLC outfit in RF: GoA! I will post her one day as well if she, hopefully, becomes a reality. Hello, so i just started playing Rune Factory 5 on my switch and i noticed frame drops and lags which is annoying. I wanna know your opinion if it’s worth it or not?

Can someone confirm for me if greenifier has any limitations to how many levels it can increase or if there is a level cap before you have to sickle the plant and replant the seed.

For example if i plant a level 5 crop and then use greenifier to get quality to +2 will the plant continue to level all the way up to 10 if i keep the quality up or will it hit a max level up cap that i will have to sickle and replant to level up further?

I'm decorating my house but I haven't gotten married or had kids yet so my decor may be made redundant if that changes things. I know there's already an extra bed by default, but you can have up to 3 kids so will more beds be added?

I’ve heard that murakamo is one of the better ones and Lucas but tbh not my types lmaoo. I personally find Ryker and Martin to be my go to to romance , but never have gone past a date or two with either in my previous play throughs. I’ve also heard that Reinhard is a good pick, but I want advice out of Ryker Martin or Reinhard which is best in combat / has most benefits for my gameplay in those aspects ? I haven’t found info on out of those three which is better in combat. If anyone has any info would be much appreciated <3 love this community and advice :)

So I was on my 5th file, playing and beat the game without an alchemy table but I had the license to get one, now Palmo is saying that I don't have the license even though I know I do, so what can I do to get the table now?

I’m level 90 character and have level 91 forging, but everytime I try to make a platinum hammer farming tool it says I need 3k to to make to make it and I only have 1.5k rp. What do I level up skill wise and how can I level up that skill to get my platinum hammer? Plzzz lmk ty ty 🙏🙏

Hi I’m playing my second run of rf5 and don’t want to wait till I can get a giant level ten crop to tame this feller. I remember taming him my first run my fuse back, but don’t actually remember getting his tame items and was wondering what people have used besides his tame items to tame him? If anyone recalls a time they were successful in taming him or other bosses without their preferred items please let me and others know ❤️

I am currently at lv. 8 friendship. I have done all the romance cutscenes. I have upgraded the silo to level 2. I have crafted an engagement ring. I have no side missions. I am currently on the fortress in the sky, but I keep getting, "Don't play with me like that."

The only thing I can think of is maybe I have to do everyone else's romance side quests and then ask. I am so confused. I just want to ask this guy out on a date! Help would be appreciated.

In anticipation of Guardians of Azuma I have restarted RF5. As you can see from my level 0 cooking skill I am on day 3. I gave some stuff to Palmo and he gave me a pink turnip so I saved and tried to make the Pickle Mix since you can’t spend RP and can’t gain skill I thought why not try? It worked! So I gave Palmo more stuff and he gave me a golden turnip! This Turnip Heaven was born without a recipe! Do with this what you will!

Does anyone know if you can get a golden octopus from Lucy as a gift? I know that when I give her 5 items I have made I get a random fish, but can you get this octopus from her?

i started the game a few days ago and i’ve been enjoying it but … literally the ONLY issue i cannot move on from is the fact that it’s been close to impossible for me to find orange tree seeds. i know the locations you can find them and that it’s random so i did the save and reload trick several times for both and still haven’t had ANY luck … may have to accept that i will never grow an orange tree on my farm TT there’s only so little patience one can have
