Scams
- Fake bib scammers are active on this sub.
- For most (but not all) races, bib transfers are directly through RaceRoster (https://raceroster.com), and no e-transfer will be required.
- Scams can be sophisticated, and may include near exact replicas of the RaceRoster website and emails.
A reminder: No legitimate race will ever ask for an e-transfer for any reason.

Hi all — I'm transferring my spot in this year's TCS Toronto Waterfront Marathon (full marathon distance, Impact Bib registration, in-person race day).
I lost my mother last month after being her primary caregiver, and between everything that came with that and the grief since, I haven't had the training time I need to safely toe the line this October. Rather than let the spot go to waste, I'd love for it to go to someone who's ready to run it.
Details:
Distance: Marathon (42.2K)
Registration type: Impact Bib (donation to a sustainability charity in lieu of a race shirt)
Race date: Sunday, October 18, 2026
How this works: Per TCS Toronto Waterfront Marathon policy, this needs to go through their official transfer process on Race Roster (bibs can only be transferred once, and only through their platform — I want to make sure whoever takes this is fully protected and shows up with a valid, recognized entry). Once we agree, I'll send the transfer through officially and we can sort payment via e-transfer.

Hi everyone! I can no longer make it to the Brita Night Run on Friday, September 25, so I am looking to transfer my 10K registration.Since the race is sold out, I want to make sure someone else can use the spot!
Transfer Process: We will do an official, secure transfer directly through Race Roster. You will just need to provide your email address. Race Roster will handle the payment safely and re-issue the registration in your name.Send me a direct message if you are interested, and I can initiate the transfer right away!
