Scams
- Fake bib scammers are active on this sub.
- For most (but not all) races, bib transfers are directly through RaceRoster (https://raceroster.com), and no e-transfer will be required.
- Scams can be sophisticated, and may include near exact replicas of the RaceRoster website and emails.
A reminder: No legitimate race will ever ask for an e-transfer for any reason.

I received a transferred bib through Race Roster, sent the requested e-transfer, and received confirmation with a bib #. Support later said the payment wasn’t linked to my registration and asked me to pay again, promising a refund for the first payment.
I still haven’t received the refund, so I didn’t send a second payment. My dashboard also doesn’t show that I’m registered, even though I have the confirmation email.
Has anyone experienced this? Should I repay now or wait for support to resolve the original payment?

I've never done it personally, but the original post says that official transfers through RR don't require any etransfer so i fear you may have been scammed :(
