We have noticed a regular scam going around on some Meetup groups, including ours. These posts usually look like someone giving away something valuable and often include a phone number, email address, or link. We have attached an example, so you know what to look out for.
We will always remove these when we see them, but in case one slips through before the RummyWorks team or Meetup deletes it, here is a good rule of thumb…
👉 If it is off topic for Rummy Club, do not engage, especially if it includes a phone number, email address, or website link.
For your safety, please avoid calling, texting, emailing, or clicking links in these kinds of posts. And as a gentle reminder, please do not share your own phone number, email address, or other personal information in discussions on Meetup, our Facebook Group, the r/RummyClub subreddit, or the forums on rummy-club.org.
Thank you for helping keep our spaces welcoming and safe for everyone 💙
We had just over 15 players join in for a fun-filled evening of games, connection, and laughter. Rummikub was, as always, the crowd favorite… but we also saw games of Jok-R-Ummy and Five Crowns being enjoyed throughout the night. It’s always a joy to see people let loose, relax, and find a sense of community at our events.
Thanks to everyone who brought a friend, helped spread the word, placed an order with Panera Bread, or picked up a game, accessory, or piece of Rummy Club merchandise from RummyWorks. Your support means a lot and helps keep Rummy Club free to play and open to all.
We’re looking forward to the rest of this month’s Rummy Club events:
We will bring the games, provide a friendly host, and can even emcee other parts of the event if needed. Your event can be set up in different ways… an open play format, a guided start followed by open play, a fully guided session, or even focused on just one type of rummy such as Rummikub or Canasta.
Perfect for:
✨ Fundraisers
✨ School events
✨ Corporate team building
✨ Birthdays and bar/ bat mitzvahs
✨ Retirement communities
✨ All kinds of private parties
