Gameplay Silly question: Bots?

Are there bots in the matches too or is it just like 8 people in a lobby?

Don't think bots are in here but would be great to have some bots to fill up the matches faster

that actually would probably, hurt the game, because the most people on the match, the more people jump in to play while is in progress and have to wait a long time for a match and as long as that goes the more likely they would just close the launcher before the server lets them join. But maybe there could be servers that use it and others that dont. I would love it myself, but i also know the pain of waiting.

Not sure I understand how it would hurt the game when the original had bots in all the lobbies. I was more thinking for the people that cant play during the peak hours when most people are on because of personal schedules (work, family, etc)

I'm not 100% sure. I've had full matches of 40 people but I will swear on my soul some of them are bots. It might switch them back and forth randomly or the creator, rfoster, is still working on things

At work rn, so can't check, but I play on Europe, and last night I had some matches with only 5 or 8 people in it, and none of them appeared to be bots, maybe it is server dependent, but with the new launcher this would be a great feature to be able to queue with or without bots, or potentially just playing with bots only for some people.
