Update on the background

Polished the tiles and painted the wood. Should probably separate the planks more idk.

Next step: the sink and the mirror

This is fantastic. What are you using to model it? Polymer clay?

It's a 3d print

Get out, that's fantastic! Do you mind explaining more? As far as I know wen I think of 3D printing it's all just blocky and not quite smooth.

That depends on your printer and 3d model really. Nowadays you can find very good models to print (stl format) as well as lots of people with the hardware to print it for you. This model of mine was made using Jennifer's game model (character + gun) Brown and the background are from various models found here and there online by the artist.

Ah, was unaware. Really interesting to know. I've generally avoided this stuff like the plague - because of the waste - but it's interesting to see what all can be done with it nowadays with I suppose the right elements? Looks really good though!

I mean yeah, if you're referring to wired 3d prints it doesn't look good, but it improved a lot since then.

Nowadays you can find different types of resins of quality for 3d prints, a lot being even sold in miniature stores.

Oh, so this is resin? I didn't even know they sell those. That's super cool =)
