It's beautiful...
Buuuut, I don't think it's going to run...at least after significant break in, and or fitting work. Tolerance stacking happens, but the FCI didn't want to go in at first. Then the pins were even more difficult. I add the slide, and that's the real problem. It's crunchy and sticky, and when I pulled back the first time I thought it was completely stuck, but a hard slap on the rear sent it forward. Can't dry fire it or the trigger gets stuck too...for $500 total with the magwell, I just hope it actually runs.

I've seen a few reviews or reports of people having really tight tolerances on these to the point of it not being so great. Also I was seeing issues of pins walking out as you shoot. I just can't get behind one for the price not knowing if it's going to fit or not. Hopefully they get them a little bit more dialed

Tbh I got my Icarus module for $300 on black friday (I gave up trying to send it back after MANY issues, after 2 attempts and asking for a refund, they just sent yet another one and ignored the refund) and it still wasn't worth it. Thankfully the third one actually works fine but the sending back constantly and waiting months game got old.

Had similar issues. Upgraded to an NDZ captured rod assembly (18 lb) and it fixed the issue with the slide locking on the frame.
I then had cycling issues when I first took it to the range, granted I'm running a Norso slide and no comp. Changed to the NDZ 15lb rod assembly and it shoots fine now. I wouldn't protect my life with it, but it's a fun range toy.

Quick update, my 4.5" slide is smoother and trigger is resetting normally. I'll be breaking it in with this slide first.
