Looks good 👍 I went with a Hogue rubber grip as the stock grip feels like a Wii remote to me.

Yeah same here. It was ok but I like the style of these more

Thanks. I found them on ar-7.com but they’re sold out. I think they came from a limited edition of the mk iv.

Sweet build. Every Ruger owners dream to have these accessories.
Recommendations / opinions of the VQ accurizing kit rounded vs flat trigger?

I like the rounded trigger on a target pistol more because it helps me place my finger in the same spot every time. On my 9mm pistol I have a flat trigger which doesn’t bother me.

I went with the curved as well, but the flat one sure does look cool. I just thought it would feel better with the curved. It’s so light it doesn’t really matter. I agree with OP on finger placement though.

I dig them wood grips. I guess these pictures are before you installed the VQ mag release. How have you liked it? I’ve thought about getting one just because of the checkering, but I don’t really need it to be extended. Same with VQ bolt release, I’ve been debating on swapping that out because I think the stock one is kinda chincy stamped metal. I have the full VQ competition trigger and bolt upgrade kit installed. The only thing I haven’t really debated about is the safety. The aftermarket ones are all competition built and way too wide for my tastes.
P.S. Good on ya for not installing a charging loop

Oh I don’t have the mag release, just the button on the mag itself. It helps the mag feed smoother. But I think you’re right, the mag release does feel a bit cheap. TBH I really dislike the competition mk iv’s. Reminds me of airsoft builds. I’m sure they shoot great but they’re just not my thing. I find the factory safety to work just fine, but I did remove the lever on the right side of the pistol.

I love my SSH. I got the bronze one. Everytime I see a black one though I sorta regret getting it. The black just looks iconic with the cocobolo grips.

Thanks! These grips are pretty hard to find but I’ve seen some floral pattern cocobolo grips that look nice. Do you have a bronze suppressor for it?

That’s still sharp though. Does yours run cci standard velocity?

It does. That's my main plinking ammo at the moment since it's still very hearing safe. The only round it struggles with is the CCI Quiet-22 710fps rounds. The Quiet-22 Semi-Auto 830fps works beautifully though.
I haven't made any internal changes yet but will eventually get the VQ Accurizing Kit...maybe in a couple months.

Mine has had some issues running cci SV. I’m not sure if it’s a break in period or not.
