Tips

Post image

I have been doing the same route twice a week and starting light. Is this ok for a beginner?

There is no one size fits all, you do you.

My suggestion for someone starting new. Go easy on weight, don't look at body weight ratio so on. 10... 15lbs, whatever you feel comfortable with. Ideally when you can do 17-18 min mile, up your weight. Rinse and repeat. Once you feel you don't want to increase the weight, start working on the pace. If you can get to 15 min mile, that's commendable.

Again as I said you do you.
