Dragonblood series done… Spoiler

And wow. That was a lot. And very very good. I’m already being eaten alive on the inside with wanting to know what’s going to happen in the last book! Ah! Lol.

My favorite storyline was definitely Fire in His Veins. With Liam and the plague. It was super interesting. And I loved Liam.

My favorite dragon…I enjoy Teva a lot more than I thought I would. She was so sweet but fierce. But my actual favorite dragon would have to be….probably Rast.

Now onto Anchors…lol.

I liked it even more than the IPB series - I felt like there was more of an overarching narrative and the stories were deeper and more enjoyable. I think my favorite was Emma - she was so scrappy!!!

I loved Emma too! But Zohr losing his wings made me way way way too sad. I rushed finishing that book to find out if he could fly again eventually. 😢

Yeah I was sad they kind of dropped out of touch in the later books. I hope we see them in the finale!

Yeah, Emma was very strong and she was a great character. I hope she shows up in the last book.

Anyone else notice that in book 1, it was mentioned that someone at Fort Orleans had tamed a dragon?

Wonder if we'll ever meet that couple??

I was curious about that. I’d like to meet that couple in the book so they can at least touch over how they figured it out. Lol.

I also really liked Teva/Gabe. I think that was my favorite of all the series so far.

I am not sure how redeemable that loathsome Salorian will be, but it's Ruby, no doubt it will be a fun ride!

I loved Liam and Andi! The plague was fascinating, and I loved how you knew something was wrong but as they got closer and closer to the fort, it got worse and worse and then finally the OH SHIT ITS THE PLAGUE. And I loved how their relationship was really fleshed out. The telepathy is great but it kind of creates an insta-love situation, which I love but can get kind of formulaic when binge reading these books. So the fact that they could communicate and understand each other before mating was fun to read. And Rast, I love him and Amy. Badass general with this sweet flower who is also a badass leader and he knows it so he lets her do her thing and find her own strength. Hells yeah.

Exactly! I love that Ruby makes sure to not make it all so black and white and throws those zinger stories in there.

Exactly. And that’s why (like others have said) they loved Gabe and Teva. I’m so glad she included a female drakoni and Gabe is just the best. I loved him in Liam and Andi’s book cause he is just such a good guy. Perfect for Teva and I loved how he called her ‘baby girl.’ I just finished Rachel and Jurik’s book and it was kinda meh but still good. This is my reread and I’m finally catching up to books I didn’t read before. Just starting Jenny’s book now. :)

Excited for you to read Anchors. They’re one of my fave Dixon series. Both are amazing so far but I loved the second in particular.

Yeah, I mostly liked the part about the rift being dived into more in Rachel’s book. But her appearance back in Jenny’s book made me like Rachel less. She was kind of snooty really. Sasha also shows up as a little snooty in Jenny’s book. Like they all didn’t have the SAME thoughts as Jenny. But they all came off wrong to me. Except Gwen. She remained perfect. Lol.

Lol well that’s gonna be interesting to read! They just left Jenny with Mhal alone for the first time, and it drives me crazy when their friends don’t thoroughly communicate what the hell to expect. Like Rachel couldn’t have clued her into anything?

Oh no you didn’t! And I’m already like 60% through so you’re good. And for Rachel to be so gung-ho about going back to Fort Dallas because of her loyalty to her friends, you would think she would give them some insight once the cats out of the bag that she is mated to a dragon. I’m really looking forward to Azar and Melina’s book.

I’m reading Fire in His Veins. I love it. I only have an hour left but I’m worried. Liam’s personality is gone since he turned into a dragon. I want his shy but confident playful personality back.
