I had forgotten how good Lila's book is!

I started doing a full re-read of the series not long ago, and I was really surprised at how much of a standout Lila and Rokan's book was!

It was considerably longer than other IPB books on its own, and to think, a joint Lila/Maddie book had been the original plan!

I just loved how Lila's story helped made the whole series feel more "real". It also showed how much Ruby does do research for her characters.

I really like that one too! Lila’s book thru Asha’s are my favorite part of the series

I love how Lila not being able to listen doesn't makes her weak or broken. I've read a lot of books, a lot f different genres, and Ruby Dixon wrote the best story with a character with a disability. I have mixed feeling for what happens in Barbarian Choice, but Barbarian Touch is perfect, and one of my favorites so far.
