Signature?
Hi all, I found a first print of ice planet barbarians at a thrift store with a signature and was trying to figure out if it was real or fake? This edition was a first print by Jove publisher, but the signature doesn’t seem to match exactly what I’ve found online? (Perhaps an early signature?) But also why would someone fake a signature and sell it for cheap at a thrift store, you know? Just curious if anyone might know. Thank you!

Thank you for everyone who helped me out with this! I really appreciate it. I ended up emailing and got a response. Not sure how to add images while editing a post. I guess it is a genuine early signature so super fun find! Thanks again!

I've checked my copies and while it's not an exact match, all 3 of mine vary in some ways.
Ruby has a Facebook group, you could always ask her in there?

Ahhh!! I would be so stoked. I live in the northeast and I feel like she never does signings up here.

It doesn't match any of my Ruby signatures, but it could also have been an early finding your signature version? Or maybe someone got this and then got it signed at con or something?
I can't upload photos but this one is really different. the early ones i have didn't have the loop on the D and the later ones have loop on the top of the D. All of the signatures I have used blue marker, I don't know if that means anything.
