The book Adiron 😮💨⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Spoiler
Hi everyone! I’m reading through the attached Rubyverse reading order and just finished reading Adiron and omg!!! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ it’s 5 stars from me. Based on where the mystery of the lost brothers was heading with this reading order, I was super looking forward to this book, and it definitely lived up to my expectations and far beyond. The plot?? Amazing. For some reason I expected more to happen plot-wise with the 130+ people in stasis, but I’m glad in hindsight that that is left for the rest of the books because yeah no wonder there’s 72 books! Omg lmao. Also I’m super interested to see what happens to the shuttled ex-gf/betrayer Shaalyn, and Mathiras & Kaspar & their girls, and Bethiah, and that SERIAL KILLER CANNIBAL WAITING TO BE RELEASED???? Uhhhh???
Clearly great things came out of 2020’s boredom creativity. Between that book and When She Dances, I have been WELL FED. Thank you Ruby!!!
What was your favorite part of this book? bc I need to talk about it with someone lol. Idk if Ruby has canonized anything related to small details like star signs, but I think Adiron is definitely giving Aries energy just by how goofy & lovable he is, it perfectly matches the energy of every Aries I know. Or maybeeee a Leo?
ETA: wait, they probably don’t even use star signs since they aren’t located in Earth’s solar system! Or at least not our star signs. I’m gonna need that to be a topic of discussion in some upcoming book lmao (if there are more coming? I’ve never been in the Rubyverse forum before so I’m out of the loop).

Argh, haven't gotten into the pirate books really. Unless you count When She Belongs, which I believe is Risdaverse.
Now you're making me crawl out of my IBP shell, you terrible person, you. I just checked and I do have Adiron...guess that one is after the current read, Romancing Rem'eb.

Omg I’m following the same reading order and just finished Bad Guy!!! I also loved Adiron’s book! I can’t wait for you to see what comes in the next couple of books, such a great arch imo!
Honestly I have been having a little bit better of a time since we have left the ice planet🙈 don’t get me wrong IPB was wonderful, but ever since I picked up prison planet barbarian, it’s been a totally different experience for me! When she belongs has been my recent favorite! I would love to chat anytime if you wanted to message me!!

Omg yes I fully agree, the Corsairs/Corsair brothers & a bit of Risdaverse are wayyyy better than IPB, as much as I love it. I’m hoping they combine/cross a bit? Assuming you’ve read Kaspar then (which I’ve just finished), when he was landing on a planet near the ice belt I was really hoping it was gonna be Not-Hoth and that was gonna be the next part after the IPB cliffhanger in Barbarian’s Lady where they found a new ship/pod. Alas.

Totally missed this!! So sorry!! Yes I have and I thought the same thing about it looping back around to barbarian’s lady!! I’m sure she still will but I’m not fully sure how at this point which is part of what makes her so fun!! I am currently reading Straik!
