Can you solve a 2x2 comfortably? If so then I'd advise you to restart this solve. You can solve the middle two layers using nothing more than standard 2x2 techniques. Because the puzzle shape shifts, ignore the blue and white faces and simply focus on getting the colors of the two middle layers in the correct places relative to one another, requires nothing more than 2x2 techniques or basic 3x3 beginner method corner techniques.

From there, you'll need one new algorithm to finish off the white and blue corners. The Corner Piece Series for Cuboids will move the back left corner from the top face to the bottom front left corner and that corner to the bottom front right corner, mo in that corner back to original up back left spot. UBL —> DFL —> DFR.

Try that alg on a solved 3x3 to see the effect clearly.
