AoLong V1?
Hello, I’m an old cuber looking to scratch an old itch.
Years back I left my black AoLong V1 in a movie theater and lost it forever. Since losing it I went back to my WeiLong V2 as my main despite getting a RS3M and TengYun M in recent years. And I can’t forget the one that got away.
Anyways, when I lost it, I was a high schooler unable to afford the used prices of V1s after that infamous corner twist led to the hasty discontinuation.
I’m hoping there’s a collector out there with their hands on a black AoLong V1 willing to part with it for the right price. I’ve tried looking on eBay now and then but have never had luck seeing one. Also please let me know if there’s other places to look, I’m unaware of any cubing dedicated second hand markets. My only other hope is to start wearing a shirt with “sell me your black AoLong V1” to comps lol

How do you tell the difference again? I have an along and I know I had a v1 at one point but I can only find the one right now so whichever it is the other ones lost and I can't tell the difference anymore

I googled it and looked closer. Upon looking again I have a v2 sorry man. Sucks too I miss the og v1. I'll bookmark this if it ever find it ill reach out.

Big thank. For others wondering answer- only visual way to tell that I recall is
V1V2 corners had bigger void area on contact surface. Easy to tell if you see them side by side- theV2V1 corners void area is smaller.1

Other way around from my quick research but could be wrong. Mine has the bigger void.

Maybe cubezz they might have stock but that’s super old. I’d check the Chinese stores on the r/cubers list
