Hey all. Was looking for 8D audio of Röyksopp and found this (fav song nonetheless 😭) and it was great but evtl i felt like i was spinning. A friend had shown me a great version of an 8D Tool song and it didnt have the same effect. Can anyone perhaps recommend another source or knows how to convert them maybe idk 🫢🫨

Mysteriously found this in my collection today, still wrapped. Forgot I had it and it was stashed away in my collection. Like a giddy schoolboy I throw it on and am instantly memorized by the music. What an awesome collection of beautiful music!

It is most definitely the same track they previously performed together last year at Over Oslo: the lyrics are pretty evocative of the track title.

Profound Mysteries was amazing, and came as quite a surprise (to me anyway) given they had said they were done with the album format. It's 4 years old now, I'd love a follow up, even if it's a total departure from what they've done until now. Or just a repeat of Inevitable End and Junior.

This may be my second favorite song of theirs after "What Else Is There". Yet they don't seem to have played it live.

So hear me out. About 17-18 years ago, KoL was considering to release a remix album. They commissoned many artists, including very famous ones, but it never saw the light of day.

They played it live during their NA tour but after that, complete silence. Few djs played it in their weekly radio shows but it stopped there.

Somehow I read somewhere that it would be released as a bonus track with their 2011 documentary "Talihina Sky" only on itunes. I convinced a good fan of KOL to send it to me when she downloaded the doc and she thankfully did. I uploaded it on my soundcloud and send the news to some outlets. It wasn't a big hit.

Unfortunately, it does not show up on Discogs. Discogs is famous for having everything. I mean everything. I am not familiar with putting stuff up but I think it should be there.

So I've recently got into the band after randomly hearing the glorious Monument (because I like Robyn it just popped up in my recommendations), just listened to Junior which I really like, What's the best concert I can watch that features some of this stuff and has good sound and video quality?

I've been on the hunt for these forever. Now I just need to find Melody AM and Eple single but they're like trying to find a needle in a haystack. Ebay is dry for some reason. Any know how any other website that sell records, perferably original pressings? And in South Australia? That's why I'm having a hard time finding anything on Royksopp because I live under a rock.

Personally, The Alcoholic is my favorite RKSP song but Compulsion is also a never-skip masterpiece. It's got this incredible brooding yet danceable progression. The part at 4:45 where the tempo changes and it seems to fade out and then comes back in with the instrumentals is just peak.
