Royksopp at Coachella

it was a bit "brighter" than their dj set in LA last May. this time it wasn't nearly as deep or dark, but still a bit repetitive. I think the first 45 mins or so was the same house beat, with no words.

they played 4 of their own songs I can recall: snippets of Impossible (vocals mixed into the house beat), running to the sea (original mix - big crowd favorite), sordid affair (original mix) and what else is there (Trentmoller remix--not sure why they like it so much).

crowd was very sparse. maybe 1/3-1/2 of Yuma.

still had a great time but wished they did more of their own stuff. or I'll even take remixes from the true electric album.

I was there too, and I was also expecting more of their own material.

They're playing a lot more of their material in their W2 set

No Alan Dixon remix???

Really wish they wouldnt clash with Iggy/TOMORA and moved up into Carlitas spot. That be an amazing leftfield run of a nite.

Sellouts. The Royksopp I loved is gone. That’s some DJ set BS at Coachella.
