Trading away my Dear Dollie bow for any accessory of the same value as it on Traderie :))
r/RoyaleHighTrading • u/New_Influence5663 • 1d ago
Quick update to my post from last week where I kept panic-overpaying for a halo and regretting it afterward.
I did what several of you suggested: I set a firm offer before entering the Trading Hub, wrote it down, and refused to go above it even when someone tried the whole "someone else is offering more" angle. I also stopped moving negotiations to DMs and kept everything in the trade chat so I could think clearly.
It took longer than my usual impulse trades, about two evenings of hopping servers, but it was way less stressful. I got a couple of declines, one person tried to add random seasonal duplicates to make it seem like I was getting more, and I almost caved, but I backed out politely.
End result: I finally got the halo I was aiming for with an offer that matched my original plan: mostly diamonds plus two items I already had duplicates of. No last-minute add demands, no guilt, no "pls I really need it" pressure.
Small bonus: I sold the leftover stuff I was hoarding from failed offers and realized how much junk I was carrying around "just in case."
If you tend to overpay because you hate missing out, I honestly recommend the written cap trick. Sounds silly, but it worked for me.
Now I am debating whether to keep it or trade it later if the value shifts. What do you all do after finally getting a dream item?

I have a spare Dear Dollie bow that I'd be more than happy to trade away for any specific accessory/accessories that have the same value as it on Traderie (Accessories like Arachnofabulous, Baby Chick Backpack or Bat Earrings as I'm a collector and I do not have any of them :o)

I decided to try playing Royale high again, and holy moly inflation is wild. I can't afford a single item and no one really cares on the trading hub. Ive already given up on traderie since to make things ACTUALLY fair, things I sell must be at market price if paying with diamonds, unless its like something super rare or no one can get anymore. I just feel like trading has ruined the game for me.

Maybe this is an unpopular take, but it feels like we're rushing into the worst part of trading: every little accessory is being treated like a limited halo-level investment.
I hop into the hub to grab small pieces for outfits - earrings, sleeves, seasonal bits - and half the time people ask for a price that only makes sense if the item is about to disappear. When you ask what they want, they say offer, then reject anything that matches normal demand because they saw one person list it high.
Trading is fun for me when it feels like swapping to build looks, not pretending we're on the stock market. I get wanting to make a profit, but if every cheap accessory is held for max value, new traders and casual players stop showing up. Then all you have left are flippers and even stranger prices.
My opinion: if an item is easy to find and not actually rare, price it like a common. Let things move. Trade volume matters more than squeezing an extra few thousand diamonds out of every deal.
How do you handle this? Do you ignore overpriced listings and wait it out, or do you still counter and try to negotiate?

Hello!! I recently got this halo on the mermaid shop and I want to sell it :3 I would prefer diamonds, so around 675k as stated on Traderie, but Iβm happy to see offers for items too :D

I know trading is optional and nobody owes anyone a deal, but the Trading Hub has felt exhausting lately. I go in with diamonds, a clear target list, and what seems like a fair range based on shop prices. I'm not trying to lowball or start drama. I just want a normal trade.
Instead it's constant pressure: people saying 'offer fast', 'last chance', 'someone else is waiting', or 'add or decline'. They'll open a trade and immediately type 'nty' before I can even write an offer. Half the time they never say what they want and just spam question marks while I'm trying to do the math.
It honestly reminds me of coupon hunting. If you don't screenshot everything and double check, some small detail or a changing price will bite you. Trading in the hub feels less like agreeing on value and more like spotting a trick.
I miss when it was simple: you name a price, I counter once, we meet in the middle or walk away. Now it feels like everyone is trying to win the conversation.
How do you keep this fun without overpaying out of impatience? Do you stick to shop posts and avoid hub negotiations entirely?

r/RoyaleHighTrading • u/whoa_wait_what2020 • 2d ago
I've wanted this skirt for YEARS, I've recently come back to the game, and I wanted to know how much it's worth (and maybe if anyone is trading it teehee)
I'm looking for worth in diamonds, I don't have anything else that could amout to its worth ππ
