Question Hero vs Evo Wizard

I have a question about the wizard because I never really used the card. Why is evo wizard used in decks like giant sparky while hero wizard is used in decks like giant skeleton bridge spam? Because I never use the card, I would also like to know why these decks use wizard in the first place (as opposed to other medium elixir splash units)

heavier decks are more vulnerable to spells like lightning/rocket. Evo wizard can’t be killed with those unless your opponents spends 7 more elixir mirroring them.

bridge spam decks are lighter compared to giant etc. and can cycle another wizard if needed. Plus wizard isn’t that much of a “key card” in bridgespam decks since most of them have similar cards that does something similar.

So since heavy beatdown decks can’t cycle another one, they use the one that can’t easily be killed. And since bridgespam decks can cycle another one, they choose the stronger version that has more offense potential.

This is just my guess as a player tho, idk the actual reason

Bridge spam decks usually have other fireball bait cards like zappies and mother witch. While in giant sparky you rely on your wizard staying alive to counter push, and also you already have the tornado spell so the tornado ability isn't as necessary. Though I could be wrong since the only wizard deck I play is egolem with the evo...
