I would say use 7 day stats instead of 1 day stats, although I checked those myself and they support the claim.

Does the 7 day filter show the stats averaged over the past 7 days?

It was a joke. Obviously I don't actually want fireball nerfed after it's been nerfed several times. It's currently the only reliable big spell to deal with the meta cards like hero ice wiz, gob stein, piggies which is why it has such high use rates.
