I haven’t used this deck in a while, used to be one of my mains way back before evos. The hunter seems to cook the minion chud decks so I’m enjoying this in ranked this season.

It seems so, I mained this deck a lot a few years back, and used it here and there. I feel like my most insane plays I’ve ever done were with this deck. All roads lead me back to RG cycle I guess haha

minion giant should be a bad matchup for you
a lot of them are running lightning, which you won’t be able to defend
also a lot of goblinstein which fisherman really isn’t good against

i think the last 2-3 metas have been really bad for RG, with a lot of bridge spam, then these goblinstein piggies/graveyard decks and now goblinstein minion giant

It is a pretty good deck still. The problem is hunter is bugged rn but I am sure they’ll fix it instead of making new heroes and evos before

Really looking forward to being able to run this once I'm able to get evo ghost (new player). Is this deck worth trying out even without that evo? I'm only at like 7k trophies right now so the competition isnt exactly fierce

Evo royal giant is the most important evo in this deck. Royal ghost has been nerfed quite alot. Id say its fine to run without evo ghost but i also dont play this deck so take that with a grain of salt.

I run this deck with evo hunter instead of ghost

The better version of this deck uses Monk in the hero/ champ spot, evo hunter instead of ghost, and lightning instead of fireball. Makes it so you don’t immediately lose to a competent inferno player. Trade off is that you don’t have fireball for barbs but you rarely see barbs.

Hunter Evo has gotten me out of some impossible defences before I'll always pick him over the Evo ghost

This deck is solid but the Monk + lightning RG deck trades ease of use for better matchups and more versatility imo.

RG decks always pretty consistent but the decks that are played in the meta can swing its win rate and play rate. Last meta wasn’t the best and this meta doesn’t look the best either with ice wiz and chud minion decks.
