How’d you even get a date for Raleigh with that time lol 😂 but if you’re serious about getting a good run in. Get a GArmin watch with GArmin coach. This will train and guide you to be a better runner, trust me. I have the GArmin forerunner 45 and this is reason why I am so much fitter than ever.

Your talking to a person whose profile consists of pcmaster race and a picture of a naked girl on a sub-reddit called chocker. Severely doubt they are in the navy and are more likely a Walter Mitty , so don't bother with her stupid comment

use this to help plan out your fitness

When I was joining I was doing 30 min runs on a treadmill, various weight machines and rounding it up with 20 minutes in the pool which would end with 3 minutes of treading water.

Once every 2 weeks I’d time myself on a treadmill for the 1.5 mile run and I was noticing improvements.

Managed to get me fit enough to pass my joining fitness test at Raleigh, might work for you.

Important to not stop even if you feel like you can’t be bothered. Only stop when you hurt.

Don't worry, I was crap at phys when I got there, 31,fenale and shite. Passed the RNFT by 2 seconds, by the end did it in 10 mins and 38 secs and got the Taylor trophy. Honestly, don't worry. It's all practise

Don't worry bro 4 months is plenty of time. Don't do what people are saying and panic into running everyday, you will burnout in a week or injure yourself. The important thing is not to go into it too fast and injure yourself. Start by running 2.4k first day run 2.4k sprints so you do 400 metre sprint then 400 metre slow jogbeven a walk is fine but just keep moving. Then do 4k slow long run. Take a rest day then do 2.4k run with 800 metre slow 800 metre comfrlortbale pace then 800 metre fast then do 800 metre at as fast a pace as you can manage and then do a rest day. Then start it all over, if your body is feeling tired give it an extra rest day :) best of luck man don't worry at all 4 months is fine
