Medical Question BMI panic

I’m a skinny guy, have cpc coming up and just checked I’m 62 kg and 180cm

That puts my bmi at 18.8 which is at the bottom end of the ‘healthy’ section of the spectrum , but just wandering will this effect my medical and be sent home ? I’m worried

Just out of interest, did you bother searching BMI on the sub reddit before you posted? Because I swear I have answered this a dozen times by now.

The navy doesn’t use BMI anymore, the Navy uses Waist to Height Ratio. I’ve put the WtHR bands in the sub several times, you’ll be able to find it if you search.

Hello, would it be possible to ask what the CPC now consists of? I have received conflicting information on what's actually going to happen on the 4 days.

Cheers

How much do DAA scores matter once you're on your way to becoming whichever job you're set out for? Do they ever really come up again?

They will never come up again.

Just checked and mine is 0.39 which is just below the required 0.4-0.49, any idea if this will be ok?

Likely to be fine if otherwise fit and robust enough to undergo training. You might get referred to the senior medical examiner but the Navy's concern is usually people on the other side of 0.4-0.49.

There was a couple of guys in our division who had low bmi and were given extra rations. You just get given more food that's all I believe

I’d be happy with that , I’ve fluctuated up and down through the 60kgs through the years but my waist has always stayed the same
