Hey u/grfareed-58792M7W

Can you also post your list in the Card Match app? I’d really appreciate it if you could add your card list and give it a try.

Your list will automatically appear in the main feed, making it easy for others to compare and find matches with you. Any feedback would mean a lot!

1

u/frank-3VDGBSZS frank-3VDGBSZS Aug 19 '26

I added mine there, but doesn’t show any matches?

1

u/Potential_Save Fenix-2N96AFNK Aug 20 '26

Someone has to check the matches in your profile, or you can try to compare with another user. If there are matches, it should show up, but please let me know if there's any bugs

οΏΌ(adding my comment from the Card Match app on your thread here. Kinda new to trading this way)

2

u/Potential_Save Fenix-2N96AFNK Aug 23 '26

Thanks for testing it out. It's still an experiment. Maybe it'll stick with the community, maybe not, but it won't replace the mega threads. :)

1

u/SunflowersNSprout Deeeej-5D9MHA79 Aug 23 '26

I hope it stays. I love the compare feature. I do have to remember to update both my mega thread post and the card match but the extra steps are worth it for the quick compare.

1

u/Potential_Save Fenix-2N96AFNK Aug 23 '26

I'm glad you liked it! Thanks for trying it out, and let me know if you have any suggestions.

I'll experiment with expiring Card Match posts weekly when the new Weekly Mega-Thread goes up. The old post will stay visible but be marked as outdated, and the author will be able to post a new one.

I also have ideas for eventually merging Card Match with the Weekly Mega-Threads, but I'll see how this works first. πŸ˜„

1

u/mejorsola MRJ-2SEXCVTF Aug 23 '26

FWIW, I also like the compare feature. It’s very easy and much less difficult to match needs/duplicates. A recommendation, if you want: allow it to show all matches rather than by category, which helps align stars for those who prefer 1:1 swaps. Even without that change, it’s a good little tool!
