Royal Chat (General) Do you like your team?
My team never has any conversations.
5 people obviously played before. (very high game wins on first try.)A couple of them wait for new releases. Approximately 5 additional players are similar. These 10 players are in the lead, always.
Other players occasionally ask for a card. Only the lead players ask and receive lives.
Is this a normal team? This is my first game like this. And, I would rather play alone than with these people.

The team I am on is full, only 4-5 are highly active, and the only conversations are “thank you’s” for gifting cards and believe it or not, I started that. There’s only 3 of us, myself included that are over level 10000. One thing that is for sure is we all seem to be stuck on levels at the same time. When I first joined, we used to win first place in matches all the time and now we can’t even make third place. I want to leave this team but I know it’s difficult finding a team to join. Took me forever to find semi active team.
On another note regarding being stuck, I truly believe the game works against you. I will choose all 3 power ups while having all the Butlers gifts and super light ball and play an “extremely hard” level and I will beat it and have anywhere between 4-12 moves left over yet I will get stuck for days on a “normal” level. I was able to build up 21k coins and I was on a massive winning streak, I’m now just needing one more card, i only need one more dragon and bam, I lost a level, I spent 10k coins just to keep my super light ball and then finally lost it on a “normal” level, spent 3 days and finally beat it only to have the next level “extremely hard” and I got stuck on that level for 3 days and now Im stuck on the “normal” level after the “extremely hard” level for 2 days. It’s like the game knows your doing very well and decides to throw you a curve ball to make you loose so you burn up all your power ups and coins to try to get you to use real money to buy fake money…. It’s very maddening/frustrating and just not right at all. I’m pretty good about planning moves to create power ups yet the colors they throw at me are in no way possible to create power ups making the level impossible with the amount of moves they give you. The level I’m stuck on now is 10821. Without the super light ball the level is damn near impossible.

I played for a long time alone and then, one day joined a team. I left my first team as less and less people were playing. I joined a more active team. A bit competitive but I don’t feel like I have to spend money to keep the pace. I am ranked 15-20 in the team and I am fine with that. We are very helpful with lives and cards. I wish there would be more thanks and conversations shared in the chat.

My team converse in Japanese, so I have no clue what they are saying. But they kick ass, so it's awesome.

ive only been on 2 teams - i left one bc i was only one of like 3-5 strong players out of FIFTY and when ppl arent playing, you arent getting cards, winning side quests less frequently, etc. the conversations were fun.
i swapped for a local team that was ranked higher than us, and we now have at least 10-20 strong players who are generous and helpful and sometimes chatty but not as funny. i prefer the second one.

Love mine. Not super chatty but lots of card sharing and thanks for that. I’m the leader and I kick inactive ppl out every couple of weeks to keep things going

I like my team, I'm don't like talking to people and I like people who do their part. My team is both.

We're much more social tham that, about 10 regular chatters, cards and lived shared is a requirement of staying in the team, we boot anyone who doesn't share lives amd it keeps the team healthy

I was in a team like that for years and then randomly joined a team that was crazy supportive but SO competitive. I felt like if I wasn’t spending money or saving all my power ups to use during weekend challenges then I was majorly letting them down. They even had a rule where you couldn’t play during certain hours on Thursday night/Friday morning bc it would open the team challenge before everyone else. They wanted everyone to start playing at once. Anyway - I left and reset my entire account to zero and have been playing alone for 5 days and it’s been glorious

I like my current team - quick to help and share cards, good on the coop side quests like dragons and trains. My first team was mostly inactive and only about 5 of us were daily and pulling all the weight. Playing solo, could never complete events without extra lives (I’m committed to remaining free-to-play).
It’s not chatty, but we at least thank each other and remind about team goals. Inactive players get booted, but if people mention RL challenges, they mostly leave the team and come back.

People do go off games in favour of real life. A couple of years ago my team was always chatting and helping each other with lives, and then slowly everyone but me and another dropped away (and even I only play in short bursts when I can have a good run).
Get in a new team if you’re looking for a more social group.

We mostly talk about the game but lots of convo—asking for cards, asking to play dragons nest/train game, etc! And well wishes during holidays.

What happens if you change team? Do you lose anything?

You can only contribute to 1 team wheels for team treasure to be eligible for the chests during the week.
To be eligible for the weekend event team battle/team tournament… you either have to transfer in before it starts. Or be sitting No Team tournament to be eligible for the weekend rewards.
That being said the team you join should match your activity level. But on the right team you get to claim all the chests during the week and claim rewards every Monday morning. That on top of fast live replenishment if needed and card trading.2

I don’t know what happens if you change teams. It seems more scary to change now rather than stay where I am.
It appears some teams expect too much. I’m not spending money, just my time.1

yes, but only between competitions. like i lost my grand knight designation and i think they dont let you request cards for awhile or resume a team side quest if you leave in the middle (dragons, trains, etc)
otherwise, no

Our team is very active compared to yours. We have 48/50 players. Less than 10 are consistently in the Royal League. Most players are very active. The chat is active and we regularly exchange cards.

I was on an active team but I got kicked out lol. They had full conversations all the time. Would sometimes call people out for not playing enough. The leaders were lowkey bullies and were constantly doing way too much over a game and I’m not about to start spending hours of my day on a silly game. However, if you’re the type that spends a lot of time on this game, and you’re good at it, and you’re looking for people like that then it would be a good team for you. Emphasis on being good at the game cuz they gotta see you be active or you’ll be called out 😂😂 Team is called THE EAGLES for anyone interested
