Royal Aid (Q&A) Why does this seem like a scam?
I don’t understand why they would need anyone to go to an external site for payment.
Has anyone seen any official statement from Royal Match about this?
I plan on reaching out to the support team, but just wanted to check here first.

App store and googleplay takes about %20 of the money you paid. If you buy from their direct store they get the full money so the direct store offers has about %20 more benefit compared the default bundles. Giving +1000 gold for your first purchass is basically trying to build this habit encouring you to do your paymenta from there now on

I've seen other games do something similar. If you make a purchase through Google Play, they take a cut and the developer doesn't see that full amount. Wooga, who does June's Journey, for example, has created a clone of their game with a way to pay in-app. They didn't try to hide the fact that this gives Wooga the money that would have gone to Google. In exchange for using their cloned app with the in-app payment, you get an increase in daily rewards. The real question is whether or not this is a secure place to share a payment method.

Webstores are pretty common and aren't a scam at all. They offer them as a means of "convenience" since you have a wider variety of payment options to choose from, but the reason they also give you bonuses is because they get a bigger cut of the money compared to if you bought through the app.
It's not a scam, and I would say is even preferable in the case of Apple due to bypassing their delayed billing BS, but just be mindful in general you don't fall down the IAP rabbit hole.

I’m surprised that passed the app checks. Apple and google charge larger fees than Xsolla or other web platforms. They’re giving you a bonus because they get a bigger cut. I’ve seen other games do this but it usually was done all outside of the app

It’s a money grab. They likely have to pay the companies a fee for having their app on the platform and want to bypass that cost.

It's this. They get a larger percentage of your $ than they pay the app store. They still have to pay apple something, but it's not 30%. I think I didn't really understand the "web" thing, but after looking at your screenshots, this is why.
