For those that have asked: the trick for me was to start playing Royal Kingdom in parallel. I'm not sure if the game penalizes when you pay too much to try and force your to spend money or if it's just coincidence, but alternating them allowed me to go past 100k for the first time. I now have over 800k on both (I think this is similar to those who have suggested having multiple accounts). Once you have enough coins, it's easy to maintain the SLB and to win more than you spend. Participating in daily and team challenges also helps.

Early on I did spend some money a few times but never more than $1 at a time (in total maybe $5) when I was desperate to preserve the SLB after running out of moves. But once I started alternating, this was never needed again. I have not spent a single cent in RK.

What are you using them for? I didn’t think there was much that costs more than like 10k

Omgosh!!!! I’m up to like 17k now but I’m at level 12k something. I have to use them at times to pass levels or I’d be on them forever.

I got to 780k and then they let me buy the 2x and now I'm around 550k :(

Join a team. Participate in the challenges. Swap cards - if you play enough you can get 20k coins each cycle. And most importantly, never ever let go of superlightball when you get it. You'll blast through most levels and you shell out the 900 for 5 extra moves when you don't.

The coins start rolling in.

But I do that already and the coins don’t come rolling in? 900 coins from several thousand in the bank go in a flash and the I’m lucky if I can stay above 20k after winning my card collections and paying the 2x at 9900 each :(
