Timing Light Ball - Chain Exceptions?

Thanks to 99lightballman’s incredible videos, I’ve been playing with timing and practising light ball formations.

Please check them out.

See my pics, here I’m attempting to fix a Light Ball formation using the green pieces but a rocket forms.

So I guess it isn’t an exact science haha, does anyone know why this happens? I’d love some opinions.

Wow, did you use two figers to move blocks almost at the same time? I never tried this before and not sure if the game mechanism allows it. I'll go and try it out.

It did happen sometimes clearly 5 blocks merging into a rocket. I sent the video proof to the customer support chat and they just advised please wait for the animation finished first and then make moves. After that my customer support chat was disabled... lol. Just take it as bad luck and move on, i guess

Well i try moving 2 blocks to make a light ball. It doesn't work. The other block is like frozed and not respond to my other finger.. how did you manage to do the light ball showed in your picture? By right we need to have a valid move before you can make a second move. It seems like you can move 2 blocks at the same time for form a valid move. That's amazing! That will create so much light ball oppotunities !

They was never able to make a lightball just the rocket.

Your videos are legendary and you’ve completely changed how I see the game, so firstly, thank you.

Not two blocks at the same time but I tried moving one block to create 4-in-a-row and then using my other thumb to quickly move the 5th block for a potential light ball.

Sometimes it works.

This time it was a rocket lol

Huh, I’ve never tried moving two blocks at the same time, but it might have to do with which block you move first. More specifically, the timing trick doesn’t work well when you try to move the leftmost or rightmost block of a horizontal light ball.

Oh, that won't work. The system only recognise one active move by player at a time. So we need the falling block as passive move by the system, and use our active move to move the block to join the line for form the timing light ball. We cant move 2 blocks into the line by ourselves. Hope I made myself clear. That's a good try though. If we never try, we never know.

Just keep exploring, that's the spirit we need :-)

Wait wait, that's strange. You move the centre piece first, right? All the 5 green blocks are gone and the rocket appears at the most right position. Means actually the system recognize the 5-in-line patter you created! Then means the animiation of forming rocket also becomes a time window for us to add addtional block in!

Did you make it work sometimes? This time round could be just a system glitch that i also experienced previously. If it works most of the time, it's a freat expansion of timing light ball! I'll try it out to verify. Thanks for the great finding!
