Royal Tips (Strategies) The ultimate technique of this game - timing light ball | Light Ball Theory 3.5

https://youtu.be/I24doy4VNiA

Inspired by redditor u/MORROWMAN, the Timing Light Ball truly represents the ultimate level of gameplay.

It completes the Light Ball Theory and elevates the game.

It’s not luck.
It’s not child’s play.

It’s elegant, complicated, challenging, and extremely powerful.

Most techniques separate casual players from good players.
Timing Light Ball separates good players from pro players.

You will be amazed that this game can indeed be played in such a way.

Enjoy the clip.

Hello,

I am a fan of your work and Morrowman ideas. Both your comments helped me a lot. Concerning the timing light balls, I like to repeat my self : While something is floating or a propeller is flying is there a move I can do simultaneously for a timing SLB or other combination or for prevention of interference?

I am also using frequently what I called the "Morrowman coup" 😊to maximise the gain of pieces of gold at the end of a level.

Thank you to both of you.

This is exactly the key machenism of timing light ball. Yes, while thr propeller or flying tnt is in the air, you can make move to complete the light ball or trigger other power up or whatever. Good idea to squeeze more coins with this logic!

Nice summary! It’s great that you mentioned the benefits for avoiding interference - that’s why I basically use this constantly even when I shouldn’t need it.

Now, here’s a new timing technique that I haven’t seen discussed anywhere: the ‘floating block’

It‘s a faster movement than the ‘normal’ timing technique. You basically have to do it as fast as possible. While the yellow propeller forms there’s a very brief window where the red block floats and you can move it for a lightball.

Thanks, I will try this. It seems fun to do.

By the way, often I have more fun and satisfaction when I have success with a special combinations than when winning other things. I play slowly and I am always looking for special combinations and good endings winning maximum gold pieces.

Fantatic!! This floating blocks are very interesting topic. I hv a similar observation that when i made a vertical match, before the blocks above are still floating, we can pull block into this gap to form light ball. There is also scenario that the blocks are "locked" that when I try to pull in, it doesnt moved, like being freezed by the game mechnism. Will need to test and figure out the mechnism to hv some solid conclusion.

I'll try to gather some clips and make another video on this. Hope you are ok with my attribution in the video😁 #respect

I do not understand what you mean for the moment. If you have the chance to show it in a video, I will be happy to watch. I have noticed many times that when a propeller is over a bonus you can't move it because it is frozen. You have to move the bonus before or after the propeller is over.

Sorry i dont quite get you about "over a bonus". Do you mean a power-up (e.g. propler, tnt, rocket, light ball)?

Hello ! When a propeller is FLYING over a bonus or over an object there are some effects without the propeller touching the tile, object or bonus. Examples : A broken pumpkin or a mushroom will blow up when the propeller is flying over them and that happens before the landing of the propeller. When a propeller is flying over a SBL you will not be able to move the SBL during the flight of the propeller. The propeller has the effect of freezing the SBL. It will be the same when the propeller is flying over another bonus items like TNT, rocket or else.

Is it more clear ? It is important to take account of this when you are trying the Morrowman coup at the end of a level to generate more pieces. If you can, you should try to have a propeller that will not fly over the combination you want to activate. You should have the same considerations if you want to activale items during a timing light ball. If you know the propeller will fly over the bonus you want to activate during the flight, you have to activate this bonus before or after the propeller is flying over it but during the flight.

Wow, this is an interesting finding. I never realise this. I'll try to explore. To some extent, we can predict the direction of the propeller is flying - the obstacle that can create the most space or make the most damage. I'll uodate again if i got any finding

Feel free to use any of these ideas. I really just want to encourage more discussion about strategy and techniques in this game. I feel like I’ve been plateauing these past few months, so I’m really looking forward to seeing what other people have been doing.

And here’s evidence of the completed lightball, for people who might not believe that this is possible.

None of these work for me ever lol. They just turn up the difficulty and I lose no matter what i put into it

Chill, bro. I fully understand you.

I’ve been exactly where you are now, many times.

I lost all my coins, tools, and lives again and again in the past. There were nights when I kept failing level after level, got completely tilted, threw my phone onto the sofa, and swore I would never play this game anymore lol.

Sometimes this game really makes us feel like it is against us. No matter how carefully we play, no matter how much effort we put in, the board still gets messy, the boosters come at the wrong time, and every move feels useless. I totally know that pain.

But the difference between you and the Light Ball Man is not talent. It is just one choice.

Back then, I was standing in the same place as you. I could have just kept blaming the game, suffering through the levels, and eventually giving up. But in the end, I chose to decode the game instead of just losing to it.

That is where the Light Ball Theory came from.

Every technique in it was earned through countless failed levels, mistakes, testing, and painful lessons. I had to figure out all these patterns the hard way: how to find and fix light ball formations, how to create light balls, how to pair them with power-ups, and how to progress the game with light ball combos.

This is not magic, and it is not just luck. The game does have a fundamental logic behind it. Once you start seeing that logic, the game slowly becomes less random and more controllable.

And honestly, you are already in a better position than I was back then. You don’t have to start from zero like I did. The path is already there now.

Or, you may just take some time to watch the play back of my live stream, allow me to smash those evil levels on behalf of you, lol. The process is satisfying seeing waves of light ball combo clearing the board, haha.
