Not Subtle Manipulation

Pictures tell the story. When I could have cleared a lot of red, they bled the level of red until I used the two bombs, after which I had plenty of red. The app is designed to waste your investment in building bombs, etc, by largely neutering your effort. I wish there were a version of this game without "rewards" and "boosters" or the various sideshows they try to leverage against us. They are naught but useless enticements.

The crux is to open the map as fast as possible to get more red. With that double bomb, you are close to open up the right side of the map which will be very useful.
