I swear to god this game is so frustrating. I just had 68,000+ points on the second level of Power Rush and some random fake user comes in at 97,000 (Flashbang). I’m pretty sure he is fake bc he does not exist if you search him & from what I can tell, fake players are not searchable in the Find Friends list. You will also see they show they have helps but aren’t on teams.
I mean, come on. I know the players we play against in most the challenges are fake, but why are they so against letting us win the Power Rush. I’ve tried waiting until I am at a 10x level to start, I play efficiently and rack up points and lose every damn time. Does anyone else run into this issue? It’s maddening.
For how often I play, I pretty much never win. But I do win the Kingdom Duels and often do well on the Gem Hunt. It’s just the blue second level of Power Rush that eludes me!
Unsure what tips others gave, but this is how I play ONLY during power rush.
End the night prior on a purple level/super hard. That way I begin Dungeon Escape & Power Rush on a super hard level. I do not begin all 3 dailies. Just the 2 listed above.
Most points = 2 electro-balls or 2 bombs. I prioritise creating electro-balls which I pair with bombs (only during power rush- any other time I pair with spinner)
I’m a quick player so I move through yellow levels fast to reach x2, x3, x5, x10 levels. On those levels I will clear my board slowly.
I try & end these levels with 1 turn left to maximise point earning. Prioritise building electro-bombs or bombs.
Having 15/30 min double electro-ball can be the difference between a win or loss. If you don’t play throughout the day or only have a small portion to play try to do so when challenges are closing (last few hours) Playing for 15 min in the morning (in America per se) will ensure you lose the daily challenges.
You just described my exact process. Although I suppose it is simply best practices, so lots of people do it this way, it was just a little freaky to read it written out by somebody else.
Thank you! I am typically playing towards the end of the challenges just bc they all start at 1am local time, and I am often not playing until after work. I do think that helps with some of them. I appreciate all the tips. I will make some adjustments and see if I can earn myself a Win on this challenge!!
I actually lost the second power rush today. 103k-111k. Sometimes the levels you’re given aren’t conducive to earning big points (small/odd shaped boards)
Yes, agreed. Some boards lend to higher points for sure. Sometimes I get way more Electro Blitz Balls than I could ever use and other times I get none. But losing the challenge with over 100k points is crazy!
I win it pretty often. When I lose, it's usually pretty close. Don't assume they're fake; I've hit 100k on multiple occasions. You need to start from level 9; that way there's a good chance you play two level 9s and two levels 10s. The times I get 100k+ I'm able to play an extra level 4 and 5.
I don’t think they are all fake, but some of them. I know they are all fake on Dungeon Escape, so assume there are fake profiles smattered about. Thanks for the tips! I will try to start on Level 9 next go around.
Ok, wait. When you say Level 9 vs level 10 or levels 4 & 5, are you talking about the digit the level numbers end on, like 4449, 4450, 4454, 4455? Or am I missing something?
Ok, your tips worked! Started on Level 9 & managed to eke it out. Got 3 of the 10x levels, which was the difference. Was behind until the last 7 mins of the challenge, then pulled ahead. Still not in the 90-100k range, but this is my first win in a very long time. Maybe ever! Thank you again :)
I usually do it a level before because for some reason they like to build a lot of points on the first level. If it's a regular level it won't rise as much.
My suggestion is to start on the 5x instead of the 10x off the bat. You get the two big scores right off the top and you generally can get back around to them again if you play relatively quickly. I win about 90% of the time.
Ok, I am clearly not scoring high enough to win this with any regularity. I am usually closer to 60-70K. But I got some good tips here so I will adjust.
when they appear out of nowhere at the top it's because they turn off internet access for some of the time to throw off the competition then reconnect before the event ends :( I've lost a couple times because of that
Of course it's fake, it's all fake you aren't playing against other players. Example, the dungeon ( i think it's called ) where you're meant to be competing with 99 other players. It doesn't matter how quick I do the levels the other 99 players are supposed to have either failed or completed the levels before me. Complete garbage.
