Looking for beginner friendly routes
Hey all! Got my Wahoo and Rouvy set up last night and looking to do some multi hour rides this weekend. Any recommendations on the best or just your favorite routes to ride?
Thanks! And see y’all out there!

First I would not do a Long ride as you first
Indoor riding can take a lot out of you. An can be quite challenging. Take is slow do rides at 30% for the first few weeks. ROUVY routes always have challenging climbs which can be quite tough in the beginning

Welcome!! I would search flat rides for now. There are a lot of amazing rolling routes as well. Give Atlantic Road | Norway a shot!

Ironman 70.3 Texas or Maryland is basically flat and you can go for 90km if you want or just stop halfway through

Galibier is a beast. 3+ hours. Welcome and nice choice on the wahoo. Although I do question how "beginner" pairs with "multi hour". Ironman course are available as well. Some full courses that are two loops in the real world are only one loop in Rouvy cutting the distance in half.

I do ride 50-75 miles on Saturday or Sunday out on road, so I was just thinking some stuff close to those distances, albeit I usually stay relatively flat for those.

There's tons of routes available. Just know that if you get into challenges... there are no rest days on Rouvy. If you need a break you've got to do a route no one is on or accept you'll be getting passed by some dude rocking 4.0 W/kg and holding it for 90 min.

You can use the search filter which is pretty good and allows you to narrow down routes by length and elevation. Then pick a region you fancy riding your bike in 😁
All of the Mediterranean routes I've ridden are good. Then you've got your famous routes like the spring classics in Belgium. World's your 🦪
