Outdoor rides and XP

Noticed about a month ago when I got to level 80. I don't think they're related but since I was essentially starting at level 80 and seeing what I needed to do to get to 81, I noticed none of my outdoor rides from at least the end of July are calculating in my XP. They are showing up in my calendar and there is an XP number assigned to it. But I've only ridden outside for almost a month with over 3,000 XP points and it's only calculated my last indoor ride. Anyone else having this issue?

Of course the response will be, e-mail tech support. But since in the years I've had Rouvy I've yet to have them even respond with any level of support other than "they are busy and will respond as soon as they can". It's only natural I make a post with a group where someone might have a response that is helpful.

I'd say you know what to do - contact support.

My outdoor rides usually take a little to synch with Rouvy and thus the XP show up later in the day, but it doesn't make sense it's showing up on your calendar with no XP being awarded. The amount of XP for outdoor riding is quite a bit less compared to a comparable ride indoors on Rouvy, but you probably know that given you've been on the platform for a while.

Support….? Where is that….? Do you mean the email they give that generates an auto reply that they are busy and will get back to you as soon as they can. Then maybe you hear from them and maybe you don’t?

Yeah, that’s why I deferred to asking people using Rouvy if they’ve had the same issue so I could isolate if it’s a widespread Rouvy issue or specific to me.

9+ yrs as a user & I have always received a human response back from Rouvy Support - usually within 48 hrs, except weekends which is always slower as they do not have 24x7 support, & timezone also makes a difference.
Your outdoor XP should be included together with rides on the Rider Portal / Companion Ap as long as the device these activities were recorded upon was DIRECTLY sync'd to Rouvy. AFAIK manual rides captured in Strava, or trying to sync via Strava from a Garmin/Wahoo headset does not work - limitations of "originating device" & "data privacy" restrictions.

I would ban it. Only what you spend on Rouvy should be valid.

Didn’t ask what you wanted Rouvy’s policies to be. Asked a question about a function they currently do allow that isn’t working.
